Myspace Music: I haz it

I've put up a page on Myspace Music for my hair-band alter-ego self, the Artist Formerly Known As Jeff Steele. I've included some songs from the 1996 CD, so if you haven't heard them, have a listen! I'm still working on adding stuff to the page, but a pretty good bunch of my rocker friends are on there so feel free to explore the wide world of NY/NJ Tristate Area hard rock, hehehe...

Onward to Victory!!

I have been enlightened as to the power that is DragonForce:

Now that, that's pretty metal.

This is also metal, but funnier: Rhapsody in Fire:

True genius.

Music You Should Buy

My friend, prolific creator, and really interesting guy John Athayde, aka Boboroshi (and also bassist of Honor By August, from post below) and his buddy Kynz have released an album of electronica/ambient music through iTunes Plus. (direct link to iTunes store, so you'll need iTunes to view it.) If you like that kind of music, it's well, well worth your $9.99.

Also, Honor By August just put up their new video for "Into The Light" on YouTube. Enjoy!

Even more 80's Rocker: My CD for sale

OK, this is kinda freaky. There are, in fact, people on the Internet selling my 1996 Japanese-release CD -- for between $80 and $102!! (the ones marked with "CD" under the top Steele listing)

That's weird to me. Well, the CD is, in terms of CDs, very rare - I'm not sure if the label even pressed more than 5,000 copies, maybe 10,000 at the very most. It only sold in Japan, and I have no idea how many it sold at retail. Quite a number of them could have been returned and destroyed.

Let me know if you want a copy. I have permission to sell up to 5,000 copies on my own, so if you're interested, I'll figure out a deal to burn you a CD-R copy. It won't have the booklet or artwork, but you'll get the tunes. :)

More 80's Rocker: Little Sister article

Hey, following up on the video, here's a blurb from the web about Little Sister. I don't remember any of those pix being taken! Sure wish I still had all that hair... Still have that black guitar though, and it still plays great. Hey, look, there's an ad from when we opened for Trixter at the Stone Pony, heh...
